York County has many local parks Rock Hill alone has over 30 parks. We are close to Carowinds Amusement Park, Bank of America Stadium which is home to the Carolina Panthers, or BB&T Ball Park which is home to the Charlotte Knights Baseball.

Growing up in Rock Hill I loved the fact that we were only a couple hours from the beach in one direction and the mountains in another direction. I remember when the mall was downtown and it was enclosed. I enjoyed trips to the Old Dime Store, or spending the day at Lake Wylie

Charleston is close enough that you can take a day trip and spend the day on the beach. My family also enjoys going up to Boone, NC and having dinner at the Daniel Boone Inn.  Today I enjoy going to downtown Rock Hill to walk around reminiscing, or enjoying whatever event we may have going on at the time. I have been many places during my time spent in the military, but to me no place was ever quite like home. I am glad to live in York County and I would love to help you find your place here too.
